ABOUT ME
Yinchuan Zeng
I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and also a Registered Counselling Psychologist and Registered Supervisor with the Chinese Psychological Association(CPS) and hold a master’s degree in applied psychology.I graduated from the Advance Training of the China-American Psychoanalysis Alliance（CAPA）, and became an independent practicing therapist years ago.
I was primarily trained in psychodynamic approach for individual therapy and Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy. I am continuous accepting individual analysis from faculty of a psychoanalytic college in America, attending individual and group supervision. At present, I primarily work with adults, adolescents, and couples experiencing a variety of difficulties, and provides supervision and teaching for counselors.
I worked as a full-time psychological counselor (clients are teachers, students and their families) and supervisor of Zhejiang University. I am now in my private practice. I have been working in this field for fifteen years, accumulated over 10,000 sessions.EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

Experience of Treatment
With lots of experience working with various people, I concentrate strongly on creating an open, non-judgmental environment that promotes client growth and self-exploration.
1. Relationship issues, including interpersonal difficulties, original family issues and intimate relationships;
2. Trauma and crisis intervention, such as growth trauma, PTSD, acute trauma and chronic pain;
3. Personal emotional disorders and existential issues, such as developmental confusion, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, sense of meaningless, dependence and independence, feeling of loss, etc;
4. Sexual confusion, including sexual minorities, sexual identification confusion, sexual addiction, sexual abuse and other issues;
5. Issues with cultural and social pressure, how to find your own identification and integration in the current environment, etc.
